RAZOR THE LIGHTNING REVENANT

INTRODUCTION

Firstly Razor is the pusher tower and Razor is not a traditional agility carry. But just forget about the old Razor with his useless, boring skillets. The new Razor is a fairly good lanner early, a true powerhouse mid-game, and a fairly strong carry (and anti-carry) in late game. He also the strong at all parts of the game, but he is a bit tricky to use and his playing style (or at least the one proposed in this guide) is risky but very rewarding. In this guide we will play Razor very aggressively. We will farm during the first game phase, and then in mid-game we will help in as the tanker pushes and team fights. We will try to absorb a fair bit of damage as a semi-tank and dish out a lot more in return. We will render the enemy's carry useless and be a force to be reckoned with late game. Razor can nuke, tank, tower pusher. The only things he can't do are disabling and initiating.

PLAYSTYLE

Razor's current playing style should be, as already mentioned, very aggressive. He should be farming throughout the game, but not hardcore carry style like Troll, or Void. He doesn't need a lot of items to be effective, but he does need some hp at least to function, and more items will increase his effectiveness as much as certain carries (meaning a whole lot). During the battle, he should be contributing DPS throughout the game (early with his nuke, mid and late with his attack and skill) and act as a huge distraction and as an aggressive semi-tanker mid-game onwards. He cans also tanking well with or without an ally. He also happens to be the strongest 1v1 hero in most situations in DOTA currently, with the ability to chase and finish people off with his eye of storm skill. He is very scary.

Warcraft 3... Dota

Warcraft III is the third title in the Warcraft series of real-time strategy games developed by Blizzard Entertainment. As with Warcraft II, Blizzard included a free "world editor" in the game that allows players to create custom scenarios or "maps" for the game, which can be played online with other players through Battle.net. These custom scenarios can be simple terrain changes, which play like normal Warcraft games, or they can be entirely new game scenarios with custom objectives, units, items, and events, likeDefense of the Ancients.
The first version of Defense of the Ancients was released in 2003 by a mapmaker under the alias of Eul who based the map on a previous StarCraft scenario known as "Aeon of Strife". After the release of Warcraft's expansion The Frozen Throne, which added new features to the World Editor, Eul did not update the scenario. Other mapmakers produced spinoffs that added new heroes, items, and features.
Among the DotA variants created in the wake of Eul's map, there was DotA Allstars, developed by modder Steve Feak (under the alias Guinsoo); this version would become today's dominant version of the map, simply known as Defense of the Ancients. Feak said when he began developing DotA Allstars, he had no idea how popular the game would eventually become; the emerging success of the gametype inspired him to design a new title around what he considered an emerging game genre. Feak added a recipe system for items so that player's equipment would scale as they grew more powerful, as well as a powerful boss character called Roshan (named after his bowling ball) who required an entire team to defeat.
Feak used a battle.net chat channel as a place for DotA players to congregate, but DotA Allstars had no official site for discussions and hosting. Subsequently, the leaders of the DotA Allstarsclan, TDA, proposed that a dedicated web site be created to replace the various online alternatives that were infrequently updated or improperly maintained. TDA member Steve "Pendragon" Mescon created the former official community site, dota-allstars.com, on October 14, 2004.
Towards the end of his association with the map, Feak primarily worked on optimizing the map before handing over control to another developer after version 6.01. The new author, IceFrog, added new features, heroes, and fixes. Each release is accompanied by a changelog. IceFrog was at one time highly reclusive, refusing to give interviews; the only evidence of his authorship was the map maker's email account on the official website and the name branded on the game's loading screen. IceFrog now interacts with players through a personal blog where he answers common questions players have about him and about the game. He has also posted information about upcoming map releases, including previews of new heroes and items.
Defense of the Ancients is maintained via official forums. Users can post ideas for new heroes or items, some of which are added to the map. Players have contributed icons and hero descriptions and created the artwork displayed while the map loads, and suggestions for changes to existing heroes or items are taken seriously; IceFrog once changed a new hero less than two weeks after the new version of the map was released. Versions of the scenario where enemy heroes are controlled by artificial intelligences have also been released. Mescon continued to maintain dota-allstars.com, which by the end of IceFrog's affiliation in May 2009 had over 1,500,000 registered users and had received over one million unique visitors every month. Due to their separation, IceFrog announced that he would be further developing a new official site, playdota.com, while continuing game development. Mescon closed dota-allstars on July 22, 2010, citing dropping statistics and his new passion for League of Legends as the reason for its end.
Because Warcraft III custom games have none of the features designed to improve game quality (matchmaking players based on connection speed, etc.), various programs are used to maintainDefense of the Ancients. External tools ping player's locations, and games can be named to exclude geographic regions. Clans and committees such as TDA maintain their own official list of rules and regulations, and players can be kicked from matches by being placed on "banlists".

TROLL WARLORD

INTRODUCTION

Troll Warlord is a more viable pick than in hit hero to versions. With easier leaning and the ability to jungle fantastically due to abuse of the Quelling Blade, this hero become easier than ever to turn him into the manly, brawling badass that he was always destined to be.

Troll is certainly one of those "hard" carries that can take out just about any other hero in the game. However, his drawbacks lie in his paper-HP and his insatiable taste for expensive items, just like any other carry hero in the game. This hero will more powerful when he attacks his enemy in short range.

 Ability
 [B]lind
A searing light blinds the vision of a target enemy unit, making it miss on some attacks. It takes last 5 seconds.

Level 1: 20% miss chance, 15 second CD
Level 2: 28% miss chance, 12 second CD
Level 3: 36% miss chance, 9 second CD
Level 4: 44% miss chance, 6 second CD

Although negated by the new MKB True Strike, Blind is a great skill to knock out any late-game competition you may have. A 42% miss rate combined with Butterfly's 30% evasion gives you more EHP to troll while you're trolling.

 Fervor

When Jah'rakal engages an opponent his animalistic nature grants him even greater proficiency in single combat. With each continuous blow on the same target
Jah'rakal will gains understanding of the prey's defenses, and guides each strike with greater compare than the last attack. It caps at 100% IAS. If Troll changes targets, his range counter drops to half of what it was before.

Level 1: 5% increased attack speed per attack
Level 2: 10% increased attack speed per attack
Level 3: 15% increased attack speed per attack
Level 4: 20% increased attack speed per attack

Fervor is perhaps Troll's greatest buff. With the ability to increase your attack speed by a hundred percent, Troll is guaranteed to get stronger and thrust his axes harder and faster as time flies on. And when you're having fun bashing skulls in, time really does fly.

 Battle T[r]ance

Jah'rakal unconsciously uses dormant magic to awaken the savagery of every warrior on the battlefield. Greatly increases attack speed for a short duration. It lasts 5 seconds on allies, and 8 on Troll.

Level 1: Increases attack speed by 60%
Level 2: Increases attack speed by 80%
Level 3: Increases attack speed by 100%

Combined with the new Fervor, the new Battle Trance makes Troll's attack speed devastating. Although much shorter than the old Rampage, the new skill boasts a global, team presence. Additionally, it gives you a "jump-start" so that by the time it ends, your Fervor has already kicked in to its fullest potential. Plus, it makes you light up like Chinese fireworks.

Guide!!!

KARDEL SHARPEYE, THE DWARVEN SNIPER

KARDEL SHARPEYE, THE DWARVEN SNIPER

Kardel Sharpeye is a testament to his name and race. Using only his finely honed skills of Marksmanship and his trusty rifle, he systematically destroys his opponents from afar. Taking great care to aim for the most vulnerable of areas, he is capable of severely injuring an opponent, and with a little extra time, has been known to simply dispose of an enemy in a single shot. His rifle is equipped with a secondary barrel, capable of launching a short burst of shrapnel at close range, causing massive damage. Sniper has always been considered as an extremely fragile hero that dies in a matter of seconds. However he is also at the same time one of the most powerful carries and pushers in DOTA. His extremely long range usually keeps him safe out of battle. He can use his skills from afar and deal tremendous damage with them. He is the only hero in the game that can out-range towers. Because of his simplicity he is often referred to as a "newbie" hero, however he is commonly used in competitive DOTA, and sometimes, it can be hard to use Kardel to his maximum potential.
ABILITY
Shrapnel
This ability is fires a ball full of shrapnel into the air which promptly explodes, showering the target area in explosive pellets. Enemy units that walk in this area get damaged and slowed. Deals 30% damage to buildings. It lasts for 10 seconds. What's great about it is that it is one of the only skills in the game that affects towers too. This is also your primary farming skill. It can also be used for lane control and escaping. The slow is decent and usually enough to perform one of the above stated strategies to defeat the enemy heroes.

Headshot
A shot to the head deals bonus damage and stuns for a short duration. This skill improves your quite low damage. The stun is also nice and it energizes well with Shrapnel. This skill also helps you with last hitting a lot. This ability is damage type that will hurt the enemy hero physical. Then it works on allied creeps and stun is blocked by magic immunity.

Take Aim
Kardel uses his dwarf engineering skills to make modifications to his rifle, enhancing the range of his rifle. Take Aim is what makes Kardel a suitable tower pusher. It allows him to keep out of danger (most of the time) and deal tremendous amounts of damage through his other skills to enemies. Also note that if this skill is maxed it is possible to out-range the enemy fountain, allowing you to destroy it.

Assassinate
This ability will take time to draw a bead, and then deal a large amount of damage to the target at a huge range. This is your only major nuke and it has quite a few purposes. It is primarily used for killing fleeing heroes, but it also has other purposes. It can cancel channeled spells, meaning TP's and spells like Freezing Field will be canceled when the target hero is hit with the launched projectile. Because of its very short cool down it can be used prior to battles, or just in the mid of battle, to deal a lot of damage to one hero, weakening him a lot, and allowing him to be finished off by allies or by Kardel himself.
